My Valentine's Day Weekend
Valentine's Day has always sort of been something I wished would be more special, or be a day where I did feel special, but it never really was for me. But this year, I felt pretty damn special.
So, let me just say, I have the best boyfriend in the universe. That's right, the UNIVERSE. And hey, maybe I'm simply blinded by love, but the point is, this Valentine's Day (weekend- counting it as a whole here) was the best Valentine's Day I've ever had the pleasure of experiencing. And it was with the greatest Valentine my existence has ever come to know.
So what made it so special?
As far as anyone knows me, I love animals, ADORE them actually, and though it may be hard for me to underdstand myself most of the time, my bf has come to know me decently well in our 1 month dating thus far. He did his best to find out what I would like or wouldn't like activity-wise in preparation for such things as surprises, especially on days like Valentine's Day. No one I've known has ever taken the time, nor effort to do something like that, to take any interest in me past the surface material. This guy loves me both on the surface and deep down on the inside too, so much so, that he wants to dig up more, wants to know more, and wants to be closer to me. And so I feel that he's gotten closer to me a little more each day. And he likes everything about me. EVERYTHING? Well yeah, I just hope that doesn't change.
So anyways, after learning my love for such things as animals and science, my bf brought me to the science museum, the aquarium and out to 2 different movies over the course of the weekend, not to mention other activities ;)
And he didn't just bring me to those places hoping I'd like them, he brought me there knowing I would like them and wanting to share the experience of going to those places with me. He knew enough not to get me flowers, but that I DO enjoy sweet things, so he got me candy, MMMMM..CANDAE! <3
For movies, we saw Percy Jackson the lightning thief, Valentine's Day (and before this weekend: When in Rome, and AVATAR 3D)
Everything we've done together has been so much fun XD and I can't wait to see what's in store for the future :)
How could I have asked for a better Vday weekend?
