I am back home after my surgery on Wednesday.

 I went to a Women's Imaging Clinic for tests today.

 And it hates me.  If it follows the pattern of Irish, Sparkle, Irish, Dino and my Darling Husband, I should be better tomorrow.  Ugh.

 Called my doctor's office this morning.  Told them I had a lingering nasty cold and cough since October 24.  They asked if I would like to be seen today.  I said, if at all possible.  I was put on hold.

 I got con crud at OVFF the weekend of October 24-26.  I have been ill ever since.  It's been low-grade, aches and headaches and sniffles and cough, but it is NOT getting better, and I just keep getting more and more tired.  I've actually lost weight, which is surprising since I haven't exercised since my last swim with pondside .  I know eating takes a ( Read more... )

 My wrist and thumb mummy wrappings came off this morning.

 Had surgery today to remove a cyst from my left thumb.  The cyst was interfering with blood flow to the tip of my finger, and causing pins and needles in my thumb, and prevented me from full range of movement for sign language.  It was still growing, so it had to go.

 Today was Sparkle's dental surgery at Children's Hospital, under anesthesia.

 Sparkle has a shiner under her left eye, courtesy of bouncing from sofa to bean chair to sofa, and falling.  It is currently very swollen and red.  We've applied cold packs, given her arnica and tylenol, and love ( Read more... )
