The Return

That title reminds me... there's a nice OLD techno dance mix thing that I have around here somewhere called "The Return" that blends in the music from "Time to say goodbye" with some techno-y stuff. It's sorta generic I guess, but it's pretty good and has a nice sound to listen to... ANYWAYS...

Tonight has been a relaxing evening. I worked til about 6:15, ran some errands, then came home. I watched "Manhunt" on Bravo. Yummy. haha One of my favorite guys got eliminated though... Hunter... he is soooo gonna be gay in a few years too by the way. He's just from such a small town, he doesn't know what gay really means. That's why he cried so much the day Rob came out to the rest of the guys. It was like a wakeup call for him.

Quick question... does anybody know if there's some secret meaning to Blondie's "Rapture", or is it just intended to be goofy? The conversation came up at work today. I had always assumed it was just meant to be silly, but some other people think I am just being naive and there has to be some other purpose that we missed out on because we were too young in the 80s. Any ideas?

I talked to Lee on the phone tonight, now that is he back on the continent. :) It was nice to hear his voice, and he seemed to be doing well. I also talked to Willie. He calls and I am bad at calling him back, so I had to surprise him and say hi and check in on him and Clay. :)

Here's a quick news story about Abercrombie & Fitch settling a lawsuit. I think the whole thing sounds ridiculous and shows how bad our society is getting when it comes to political correctness. Sure, you may have an argument if you can prove that they were discriminatory in some of their employment practices, but how on earth can you legally challenge a clothing company for not including enough minorities in their marketing??? Geez. We live in the United States of America. At one point in time, that meant something about freedom and liberty. If A&F wants to market their product to white males 18-30... mostly hot frat boys or hot gay men or those who want to be one of the first 2 categories... then so be it. Have fun. It's your business, and your business decision.

Okay, enough of Jeremy's bigotry for now. JUST KIDDING. Here's another cool thing. Some people in the Netherlands have stitched together a series of high-resolution photographs and created a 7.5GB image that contains 2.5 billion pixels. It's just a picture of a small town. On the big scale it looks kinda boring, but you can really explore the city by zooming in and moving around. I found it interesting anyway. Check it out! (but only if you have a broadband connection haha) :) The Big Picture

That's all for now. Be back SOON... :)
