I've applied with the railroad.
Yeah... I have an interview next weekend in Indianapolis. I think I've got a pretty good shot. It'll be a huge raise in pay, better benefits, and earlier retirement... plus it'll give me what I want more than just about anything right now: the chance to get out of here with an opportunity to see the country, at least the eastern half. Looking at the places on the application, I can transfer practically anyway on this half of the U.S. New York, Georgia, Michigan, just wherever I wanna go for a few months. And if all else fails, I could always transfer back here to Dante and make practically the same money lol. So, I'm one step closer to getting out of here, if anyone cares.
I'm excited. This could open up a whole new world of opportunity to me. I'll leave it at that.
