First to address the title of this post, I received my first response from my grad school applications today and I believe it is safe to say that I will not be attending Arizona State University. It wasn't one of the higher schools in my "mental priority list" but it still sucks balls to be rejected, and it makes me nervous about the rest of the schools. ::twitch:: enough of that though.

Last night I escorted Leslie, a sweet and sexy sorority girl I met off of myspace, with me to the two art openings in Trahern and it went simply smashing. She was very energetic and expressed a great deal of interest in me, my work and all that good stuff (you know my ego couldn't resist that), heck she even knew all sorts of stuff about art. Did I mention she had great communication skills? At the end of our date she asked me about my schedule for the rest of the week and we are going to be going on another thing pretty soon so I am quite enthusiastic about that. Today my date proved to be quite the conversation piece, but it seems that the overwhelming opinion of her was quite positive. Not that external opinions dictate my choices, but it only helps when people are "feeling it."

On another positive note, I contacted the Macromedia people about my current user license and they informed me that there was a 25.00 "change of platform processing fee" which I was fine with, but later they informed me they were going to wave it so now my mac is good to go with all that good stuff, and I'm not out a single dollar. Macromedia's support was friendly and efficient and I have nothing but praise for them at the moment.

A day of highs and lows is the best way to describe the past several hours. I'm going to go work on a sculpture to re-center my thoughts.
