"Coon" Films
This week we were introduced to the more modern version of some 'coon' films. That is to say, films that use multiple black stereotypes in order to create comedy. The movie this week was Soul Plane. It's a movie about a white conforming black man who thought up a mondern day minstrel show in order to make ratings for his tv company. Is it a choice; does it really matter?
There are SO many different theories out there on why/how homosexuality and transsexuals exist. We have been researched, tested on, and studies for a good long time just to find out why. Gender Rolls
This topic just begs the question, Why? What is so important about gender rolls. Why do the girls have to play with Barbies, learn to cook and clean, always dress real nice and look pretty; and why are the guys expected to mow the grass, fix the cars( and everythign else), plow the garden and like to hunt.

Caste in Stone
Can you imagine living under a Caste System? I really can't. It would be absolutely horrible.
