Family Affair
We've had a lot of family get togethers lately, and have one more on Saturday. My dad turned 44 on Monday, and Uncle Chuck turns 41 today. So, last Sunday we had lunch at Grandmother & Papa Jack's house. Of course, when we all get together, there is some kind of drama! Well Sunday it was in full swing! Also, last night we ate supper at Maw Maw Pittman's house because Aunt Faye and Uncle Bob are in town. Even more fighting and drama last night. My family is so freaking dysfunctional sometimes. But then again, whose isn't? Hopefully tomorrow at Maw Maw's birthday party (she'll be 93 next week), everyone can act semi-civilized...haha.
I forgot to mention last time I updated, my best friend from middle school and high school, Stefanie, got married Saturday night. Jenn went with me to the wedding (yay!), and we had a good time. Her dress was really pretty and the ceremony was nice. I saw some people I graduated with that I hadn't seen in a while. For those of you that know and care...Joseph & Jessica are now engaed too and getting married in May 2007.
I've got so much school stuff to work on this weekend...I'm totally dreading it. I've got to write a 2,400-3,000 word editorial campaign, plus I have some short stories to work on for my creative writing class. Boo for school...is it summer yet?
