My Spring Break came to a screeching halt this morning at exactly 7:00 when my alarm clock began it's annoying eruption of loud blasts. My week was really good, despite the yucky and cold weather. I had the chance to just relax and watch a lot of TV. I rented Good Night, And Good Luck and Weather Man. Both were good. I also watched an entire season of Arrested Development and Will & Grace. On Wednesday, me and Bethany ate Mexican (yum!) and had a Scrubs marathon. We watched 15 episodes in one afternoon. All of this just confrims how lazy I was most of the week. But, I did do some spring cleaning. I also read some, but not near as much as I intended to. I was also going to use the week to get ahead with some schoolwork so I wouldn't be bombarded once I got back...but of course that didn't happen. I have a feeling the final 7 weeks of classes (including finals) are going to be pretty hectic.
I was very disturbed by something that happened last night. We've all been subjected to chain letters in our e-mail inbox. They've even crept to MySpace bulletins and now the Facebook. But this I thought would never happened. At about 11:00 last night, my cell phone play it's message alert tone so I flipped it open to read it and see who it was from. I was appalled to find a CHAIN TEXT MESSAGE. I mean, has it really come to this? Here is what it said:
FW:Msg: This is a test= If you love God and you are not ashamed of it send this to five people. And watch what he does..
Please people, don't fall into the chain letter trap. ESCAPE!
And have a great day!
