Paris, Chanel and Suitcases..

Put off calling Gavin, my Head of Environmental Engineering, for a couple of days because I couldn't deal with the awkwardness of having his mobile number, but basically the Singapore job is a go ahead. I still have a couple of things to figure out, ie getting off my lazy ass to go to university and do a manual enrolment so I can do my full year final year project in half a year..yeh, don't know how that works. Gavin is under the illusion that I'm capable of pulling it off despite the fact that I just failed a subject miserably. Hopefully I can tie in what I'm doing in Singapore with my Final Year Project, you know, try to kill two birds with one stone.

I will be flying off in the beginning of the new year and possibly coming back every couple of weeks for the weekend because I might need to be in Australia to work with people in the Melbourne office and Greenstar and wow this is really boring you right now. I'm not sure how badly travelling back and forth is going to screw with my perception of time, but hey, it's an adventure. I'm beginning to think that living out of a suitcase might be considerably less romantic in real life than on paper.

LOL This is actually really shallow and low of me, but I can't help but think that when this is all over (or will it ever actually be over if I stay in Singapore and work there forever?) I'll finally get a Chanel bag! I've always had the rainyday savings to get one, but I have this odd notion that Chanel bags need to be earned. Like if I got one now, I'd be completely undeserving. And I keep telling everyone that maybe I'll have earned one once I get a job at a supermegaawesome company and now..it's sort of happened? Let's just hope I finish my Final Year Project on time and achieve something in Singapore.

Unrelated, but I feel like pretty pictures of pretty clothes are sort of in order. I've been a bit slow on the Gossip Girl front (um..hello, Glee), but Blair's clothes in the first two episodes of the new season have me mesmorised. She pretty much already wears all the clothes I want to wear, but it's like the costume department decided to kick it up a notch for the Paris episodes. Want want want.
