I am suddenly listening to nothing but upbeat pop. Oh noes! LOL...

We saw Tin Tin this weekend and it was excellent! It was a movie I was COMPLETELY ambivalent about, but JP talked me into seeing it and I'm so glad he did! It was funny and touching and just a great adventure story. A real throwback. It's nice to see Speilberg still has the chops.

 I am so done with this year, OMFG...

My AC died yesterday (up until last night, it was in the mid 80s here in Hades) and the guy came out today to look at it. He replaced the capacitors but is not certain as to whether or not the compressor was permanently damaged. If these capacitors burn out, I will need to buy a new unit. Oh yeah, baby. FRUSTRATED! FRUSTRATED! FRUSTRATED!

Last night, our neighbor's 4-year-old son somehow managed to shove their water hose into our dryer vent opening and flooded our dryer, laundry room, and part of the kitchen.

Ughhhhhhh.

Thank goodness JP figured it out almost immediately and he got to work taking apart the dryer, cleaning it out, and running it so it would absorb excess moisture that ( Read more... )

Got my Jeep back today! Yay! It doesn't quite feel the same, but I guess I just need time to readjust. I was in the rental car for 6 weeks!!!

Listening to JP play Portal 2 - the AI computer (Glados?) is SO BITCHY. It's hilarious!

So, we left for the coast on Sunday, got back today, and had an okay time EXCEPT:

So on Thursday morning I was coming down the stairs at home, missed the last step and fell HARD. So hard, in fact, that I wrenched my shoulder a bit and twisted my ankle badly enough that for a moment, I thought it was broken.
