Allen Cunningham is (perhaps) the best tournament poker player in the world. Finally the WSOP is having a H.O.R.S.E tournament. It is long overdue. HORSE (Limit Holdem, Omaha8, Razz, Stud High and Stud8) is a real test of limit poker acumen, perhaps the best test of that skill set. Charity poker in Ohio is a corrupt institution that serves no one well except for the proprietors who control it. The poker playing public is forced to pay exorbitant fees to play in sub-standard conditions (if they wish to play poker in legal non-home games). I’m walking through the Bellagio this past Friday and I get to one of the main intersections.
