Then and Now

The first picture I tried to draw of an ESS character wasn't great.  I really am at the very beginner stage of drawing and back in April/May when I first picked a pencil up because I felt compelled to draw him, I was the greenest beginner.  Here is a picture I drew of him in the role of Reid Oliver (no it doesn't really look like him but I'm proud of it because it was my start and I actually showed it to some people....huge step for me).

Then last month I decided to go back to my original photo and try to draw it again.  It's still not perfect but I can see so much improvement...shading, lines, details.  I will probably try it again in a couple of months and hopefully see even more improvement.
