The top drawing is one I made for a friend's birthday. There isn't a lot of detail but honestly I redid this drawing so many times since it was a gift. By the time this copy was done I was running short on time and didn't want to mess with it anymore. So it is a very careful drawing...I was happy with it because I can tell it's Dr. Reid Oliver when I look at it. Wish I'd been confident enough to work it a bit more but over all for the drawing stage I was at, I'm good with it.
The bottom drawing is from ESS's guest spot in Numb3rs. We put the black and white pic of this on the homepage of the site and it got a great response. Again I had to try and draw it. This was my first attempt at drawing a face that wasn't looking straight at me. I'm not really happy with the results but it showed me that I really needed to work on profiles so I started looking for stuff online to help me...now I'm practicing that and feel like it's coming a bit easier.
