we've been without heat for a few days, and it is getting kinda sucky. no heat, no hot water. at least we live in a basement & are surrounded on 3 sides by dirt, so what little heat we do generate down here tends to stay down here a bit better than if we were on the 1st floor. it's cold, cold, cold. and i've been having to shower at my mom's house. and i feel super duper scrubby because i didn't shower yesterday. ugh. this is going to suck tomorrow, when I need to get up at 5:30am normally to shower at my own house. I'll have to be up & out of the house by 5am tomorrow to shower, since I don't think the heat will be restored by then. i'm cold! i want warm water! we need to do dishes & shower & be able to sit on the couch without 29424 layers on, plus hats & the warmest handknit socks i made!
