(no subject)
i am sitting on the couch, with my gorgeous MacBook Pro on my lap, dressed in my favorite 10-year-old sweatpants, white tank top, and hand-knit merino/silk cardigan. life is pretty good right now.
except that i'm doing schoolwork.
but what else is new?
the silver lining, though: i will be completely finished with graduate school by this time next year. YES. that is right. NEXT YEAR. it seems so far away, but so close at the same time. oh, Time, you play such a trick on me, and pull at my heartstrings. i want to be done with school like, rightnow, but i'm not. one year. one little year. no problem.
also: it's snowing out! the first (real) snowfall of the year. it's gorgeous, and the flakes are big. and i cleaned our windows yesterday, so you can see every single pretty one of them.
oh, my apartment is cozy right now. the only thing missing is jason. <3
