As everyone's probably heard, Southern California has been on fire all week, the worst wildfires in California history. I just wanted to let everyone know that my family and I are safe. The fires never got anywhere near my town. Some of my in-laws who live in Lake Arrowhead got evacuated, but today they were able to go home and their house is still there.
I feel sad for all the people who lost their homes and the ones who lost their lives, but I'm also thankful that my family and friends are all safe and still have roofs over their heads. I give my thanks too, to the firefighters who did such a heroic job as always.
