busy bumble bees.....
i've been busy. pretty obvious isn't it, since this is only my 3rd update since i left my job. hehe.....having a full-time job does accomplish things....like having updated lj. :D
got Li a return ticket to Semarang. she's leaving this Sat and is scheduled to head back here on 31 July. was told by my maid agent that i'm required to get the Indonesia Embassy to endorse her home leave, so there'll be no problem for her to re-enter Singapore. went there yesterday and got it settled there and then. i'll probably be back at the Embassy again when she's back - to renew her passport. our frequent trip back to JB has more or less exhausted the 16 pages in her passport. was informed that it'll cost a whopping $360 for a new passport!! too darn expensive if u ask me, but then, can't save this $ can we? without her passport, how to bring E to visit her yeh yeh and nine nine? i'm just glad that this stack of cash don't originate from my pocket! ;p
have also been bringing Li to buy whatever she wants to buy before she heads home and girl, what a list! there's so many things she wants to buy; dresses for her sis, t-shirts for her brothers and dad, watches, herbs, biscuits, bags, shoes, dolls, and a BIG luggage to stuff all those things in. i just hope she doesn't exceed her 30kg luggage weight limit....
now that her home leave is drawing near, i'm feeling slightly jittery about taking care of E all by myself. cleaning, feeding, bathing, preparing meals, patting her to sleep, playing and not forgetting the entire household chores ==> no joke. dh was nice enough to encourage me yesterday with his moral support and belief in me that i can do it. me? not so sure myself but i'm prioritising. whatever needs to be done for E will be done. whatever that can't be done for dh or the house will just have to wait. and that really means NO ironing will be done for dh. i HATE ironing, especially clothings with ALOT of material! sorri, rambo, u'll have to think of something yourself...;o)
i cut E's hair today and it's so darn short that her face became lagi round.....:))
