babe in shades
long time since i last updated my lj. been busy with household chores and stuff. i've been good so far, clearing the truckloads of laundry and linens regularly, washing the toilets periodically, sweeping and mopping the floor religiously and of course, feeding and cleaning E all day long. except for ironing. i only iron when there is nothing neat for me and E to wear....heh~ i'm slowly getting used to being a SAHM. the perks are really not too bad; can play with E all day long, can sleep in late, watch TV late into the night, no boss, no deadlines, no office politics. the downside to it though is no salary, leave or snake time. occasionally, i do feel so cooped up at home and out of touch with the rest of the world. most times though, i just feel so lucky to be able to devote all my time and energy on nurturing E. i'm enjoying myself while it lasts. this is only a temporary arrangement and who knows what tomorrow brings?
jobwise, i'm still looking out for any interesting openings and applying for them. so far, i've only gotten 1 interviews out of 8 applications. quite disheartening but then, with the economy just picking up speed, i guess i need to be more patient....
she's getting into her temperate zones man, getting all emotional at times, especially when her requests are turned down. she will go to a corner and sulk, which eventually leads to full-blown crying. whenever i take something away from her (like my wallet), she will snatch it back from me and put it on the table, refusing to let me touch it! tsk tsk.....very ti kee...i sense the big T2 looming over me and i'm getting myself prepared for all her 'patterns' when the floodgate opens. it's going to be a tough ride lah, since she's such a headstrong and stubborn chit....sigh, traits she took after her mum, no doubt. i need more patience.......
