Food Diary: Day 7

Oops. Possibly a bit too much salsa in my eggs this morning....

The salsa in question being scrambled eggs w/ cheddar & salsa, half an english muffin w/ butter, and the ubiquitous milk. My breakfast his morning.

Yesterday's food was ok, I thought, although due to major self-induced stress, eating lunch 1.5 hrs late, etc, my glucose numbers for breakfast and lunch were high, with lunch being very high. Not good.

Breakfast: american cheese omelet, half a plain bagel w/ butter, milk
snack: half pb on whole grain, decaf coffee
lunch: turkey on romaine salad w/ thousand island dressing, tortilla chips (1oz), and a quarter of a slice of banana bread, whcih probably contributed to my number jumping
snack: blueberry yogurt
dinner: half of an IHOP spinach/mushroom/swiss/american omelete, sausage (1 link), hash browns. It wasn't supposed to have american, and it was supposed to have ham, without the side of sausage, but the order was messed up. And I was tempted by being handed a plate of pancakes, of which I can eat one and all of 1 tbsp of syrup. Not worth it. Jon ate them and I stole one bite at the end. :)  Plus decaf coffee.

Also? I discovered that Dove's mini ice cream bars are only 6g of carb each. W00t! I found a source of (real) ice cream. I can measure, too, but that's more of  a PITA. It's in the 80s here. I need mah ice cream!
