nd so, another year ends, and another series of 'What I Did With My Spare Time' blogs arise. First up, movies.
Last year, I said I'd watch more films and I kinda did, but I still reached the end of the year feeling like I really didn't; and I certainly didn't do what I intended, which was to patronize my local cinema more often. There were a fair spread of naff movies this year, including one movie that I absolutely loathed in 2010 (thanks for nothing, Pete! You know the one I'm talking about!) and there were some that were less epic than I'd expected. Somewhat unsurprisingly, Tron Legacy gets my 2010 Movie Of The Year award - and if you couldn't see that coming, this is clearly the first time you've read my blog. Second place goes to the Korean 'Eastern' The Good The Bad The Weird.
For 2011, I'm looking forward to seeing Inception (a blu-ray Xmas gift), Paul, the Thor movie, Apollo 18, Cowboys & Aliens, maybe the True Grit remake and the live-action Space Battleship Yamato (will someone please release a subtitled version of this?); but for now here's last years complete list...
