DRM rears its ugly head again. Apparently every PC copy of Gears of War shut off on January 28th. I'd call that a defective product (especially if the license didn't state the cut off date), and I hope that EPIC gets hit with a class action suit that makes every game maker think before they put stupid "copy protection" features into their games.
Remember, any serious cracker can disable any copy protection in any computer program within days. That makes it really, really dumb to over do copy protection and piss off customers.
