Sick
Many of my kind coworkers have elected to share with the office. Sadly, they are sharing a cold, which I have now caught (I'm close to the last person in the department to get it).
I really wonder if the overall productivity of companies would be higher if they gave more PTO and told people to go home when they are sick. As it is, many people wouldn't constantly feel pressured not to take time off. Two weeks of discretionary PTO seems to be the norm, and it doesn't stretch very far.
Yes, I'm sharing also sharing with the office this week. I don't get any PTO yet, so I don't have a lot of choice.
