unseen al gore
I got on a Spike Jonze kick this morning, and watched a bunch of his commercials and short film work on YouTube, and came across the following piece that he did on Al Gore during the 2000 presidential campaign. I'd heard about it before, mostly along with the sentiment that had it been allowed to air, he probably would have become President that year (even though he should have been in the first place, after winning the popular vote, but don't get me started).
It's a very simple video, just Jonze following Gore and his family around, being invited into their lives for a small amount of time, but it really humanized him, and would have dispelled a lot of conservative comparisons of him to a robot.
