Word Metrics for the last two weeks.

So, it's been a while since I did this. I need to get into the habit of posting regularly. I'm getting a bit slack on my blogging in general.

So, metrics. I've been writing a lot lately. I finished FOOL'S GOLD, been plotting out a new upcoming WIP that I'll probably start on the 1st of April, and I've been writing short stories.

07/03 Monday: 1694
08/03 Tuesday: 753
09/03 Wednesday: 952
10/03 Thursday: 779
11/03 Friday: 1167
12/03 Saturday: 1174
13/03 Sunday: 2400

Total for that week: 8919

14/03 Monday: 4906 (At this point I had just finished FOOL'S GOLD)
15/03 Tuesday: 1656
16/03 Wednesday: 961
17/03 Thursday: 0 (computer crashed, so no words)
18/03 Friday: 0 (computer continued to be crashed for the most part of the day)
19/03 Saturday: 780
20/03 Sunday: 754

Total for this week: 9057

In two weeks, I had written almost 20,000 words! How amazing is that?! It feels so surreal to put it into that perspective.

I probably actually wouldn't have been able to write so much if it weren't for one website. That site is 750words.com. I seriously recommend it. It encourages you to write 750 words each day, and rewards you with badges for doing various things, such as write 3 days in a row, 10 days in a row, 30 days, 100 days, even 200! There are badges you get if you write constantly at night, if you write for 10 days without any distractions, or even if you write the 750 words in less than 20 minutes!
Since I'm a competitive person, this just rocks my socks. It's so motivational to have a badge reward you every once in a while.
So yeah, check it out. :)
