Spent a pretty decent Sunday, running another playtest of one of the games that I'll be running at CanGames in May, this time one of the two Desolation scenarios.

Well, as noted in this post of yesterday, I had a major glitch with my Dell laptop running Linux Ubuntu, and lost all of my sound and multimedia capabilities.

After I finally calmed down somewhat, I actually managed to find a solution to the problem with the help of several of my friends here on LiveJournal, notably hub_ and absinthe_dot_ca. Offers of much praise ( Read more... )

Another warm day shaping up here in the Ottawa valley. Not as warm as it's been over the last little while, but I'd be grateful for something in the mid-20's Celsius.

And I obviously have no idea on how to set up the LoudTwitter feed, since it sent the posts from yesterday to me as an e-mail when I scheduled it to go down.

I guess I will have to work on this and figure this thing out. But it's not a priority.

Well, folks, I've just signed up with LoudTweeter to have my tweets cross-posted here to my blog. With any luck, I've set the process up right, and the Tweets will be behind cuts for those who don't want to see them. Expect the first batch of these sometime tomorrow.

I still can't post up to my Twitter account with any sense of regularity. It seems that just the first post, and maybe one or two after that make it up on there.
