In light of the broken water main at the condo complex and the fact that there was no water, I managed to spend most of the day at my mother's place, and out and about courtesy of spross for the afternoon. Just home after work today.

I did, however, stop off at the local polling station and voted i the Municipal Elections. I don't know whether I'll make any difference, good or bad, but that's another matter.

From what I've heard, the voter turn-out might only be something like 43% or some such. Really sad.

Just got into the office here in Ottawa today, and have to say that I'm glad that I took the bus, as the blizzard that we've got going here (they say we're gonna get around 40 cms (that's 15.75 inches for you Yanks) of snow before the evening.
