Another one of those cold, winter days here in the Ottawa valley.

Hence started my day with a breakfast of steel cut oats. Not the six-minute variety, but the steel cut oats that one has to cook for around fifteen to twenty minutes. Nice and hot, warming the tummy, and leaving a feeling of comfort after breakfast.

Just got in to the office.

Already extremely warm outside here in Ottawa.

I went to the hospital for my 3-month set of blood tests, and had to deliver up 6 vials of the red stuff (mine is red, I hope yours is too!) and 2 containers of pee. Oh, joy! Oh, bliss!

It's Saturday morning.

I'm feeling relatively all right this morning, other than some pain in my left foot and ankle, and a twinge or two in my back. Somewhat tired after a longer night than usual last night.

Finished eating breakfast and have showered for the morning. Good thing about the last part, because the heat and humidity before I turned on the ductless a/c this morning was stifling and I was feeling quite...dirty.
