RPGaDay2024 in August - August 25th: Dice
We continue on today with #RPGaDay2024 for August.
Day 25 - Desirable Dice
I've bought a lot of dice over the years, most of them dice of a colour or style that I like that is suitable to the game(s) that I run. I don't really have any favourite dice or type of dice, but will say that I favour the percentile dice (D100). Primarily for their aesthetics and the fondness that I have for their use in my early days of running fantasy and science fiction games such as the DragonQuest RPG and Universe SF RPG respectively.
However, when it comes down to the nitty gritty, in all honesty my most desirable dice are those that I can read without having to do eye exercises! Just another sign that I'm getting old! :)
