I don't wanna be no man's woman

Battlestar Galactica - So very good. Valley of the Shadow - OMG Starbuck.

Stargate Atlantis - intriguing, and I'm no longer watching just because it's before BSG.

Alias, halfway through Season 1 - Eeeeeee! Sloane is a master manipulator. And I continue to love Sydney, despite the moments where she's completely naive - because it's an understandable naivete. And the rest of the time, she's super-kick-ass.

I'm feeling the need for a Buffy renaissance - since I haven't been around for the FX morning re-runs, I've been feeling a distinct Buffy absence. I'm torn between rewatching Season 2 (the Evil Angel Season, as I call it in my head) and Season 7, because I still haven't rewatched all those episodes and there are some I really don't remember all that well. I've also had a craving to rewatch Sports Night - but do not have the DVDs. Hmmmm. *considers re-ordering Netflix queue*

I have lots more to say than I can manage right now about: In the Shadow of Two Gunmen (West Wing), Objects in Space (Firefly), and YOU WERE THE CHOSEN ONE Revenge of the Sith.

Have less to say about the Lifetime movie The Dive From Clausen's Pier which I could not manage to turn away from, despite the absolute shudder-ness of some of the acting, and the creep-factor of Simon/Dawn Sean Maher and Michelle Trachtenburg as lovers. But, oh, Sean Maher's mouth is so beautiful....

I am laughing like mad over this which is referring to this letter.

I am having a glass of perfect iced coffee with a piece of Boston Cream pie, and that is making me very happy.

And finally, truth in haiku form:

better angels of our nature, no power in the 'verse, what's my counter mission?, that fandom about hair and geek heros, in search of a master narrative
