After a totally excellent (and so-totally-not-healthy) bowl of potato soup at Shiraz this afternoon and a quesadilla tonight, I'm about ready to put my girls on and hunker down for the night. (My girls: Samantha, Carrie, Miranda and Charlotte.) But many miles to travel before I lay down my pretty head. :)

First off: the great house hunt continues in earnest tomorrow night. We're going to look at a very cool sounding house after work. I'm doing my damnest not to think about it because then I get all excited and I know I'm bound to be let down in more ways than one. So if I don't think about it, I won't start to formulate plans, ideas and dreams...and I won't be totally crushed when the house turns out to be a hole.

Second, I successfully navigated BB tonight without picking up the hideously overpriced (not to mention the hideously colored) Voyager set. I mean, who the hell is going to pay $100 for a five disc set with only 15 or so eppys? Not to mention it was a subpar series and the packaging is worth shit. On the plus side, I did pick up the QaF Season 3 set, which I will begin to watch in earnest as soon as I finish season 4 of Sex and the City, which is my favorite show I can't watch in first run. I've made it through episode 4.5. That's the one where Carrie and Miranda are invited to Steve and Aidan's bar opening. (And damn Carrie for giving up on ADD guy...Ray, I think was his name. He was fucking cute.)

Third, I can't believe tomorrow is fucking Wednesday already. I swear it was just Friday. When they talk about time flying, they ain't kidding, are they?

Fourth, which kinda ties back to Second, I have finally given up on all current forms of Trek, except the possibility of a new movie. It simply holds no interest for me anymore to see T'Pol and Trip doing their massage or Archer pointedly pontificating about the Xindi. I stuck with it for so long because it was a constant. Now it's just constantly disappointing.

Fifth, I just remembered I still have those towels from Linens and Things in the trunk. I never took them out last night. Prolly ice cold by now, don't ya think?

Sixth, this is getting pointless and it's nearly 8. Time to shove off and get some stuff done before the guys come on. (While I won't argue with Lisa that Jai is cute and I won't similarly argue the fact that Kyan is my favorite Fab Fiver, I'm starting to find myself strangely drawn to Tom every single time he calls somebody "pumpkin". Odd, I know.)
