Slightly more uptempo than their last ("Matter + Form"), "Judgement" still has the mono no aware that all VNVN's albums seem to possess. Yesterday I finally got my right ear pierced, three rings in the upper cartilage to match the left. Before I got these done, I had never had any body modifications done (not even the usual girls' piercing in the earlobe), so they are extremely meaningful. This weekend was one of the better in recent memory. Friday was no work, due to INSANE high winds that knocked out power in most of Bellevue (where I work) -- 85+ mph gusts are no joke!
