Rollercoaster

Its been an instense 3 days since I got back from Florida..feels more like a week. However, I did manage to acquire a (part-time) job and the possibility of a very awesome apartment (even if the neighborhood is not quite as awesome...but lets face it I've always lived in ghetto neighborhoods in NY). The building is situated directly between 2 different subway lines, (the A/C and the 1 at 145th St.) so thats pretty awesome.

I interviewed at Keith Prowse (sort of the European version of Ticketmaster) yesterday and was pretty charming, if I do say so myself. lol. James, the guy who interviewed me, called about 3 hours later to offer me the job. And I beat out at least 3 other people for it, yay! Basically what I am doing is general office work having to do with online ticketing, as well as delivering reserved tickets to Broadway theaters for will-call. Added bonus: free tickets to Broadway shows! Woot! The office is very casual, and they are willing to let me go to auditions and whatnot, so I am hoping I can score a full time position in a couple months. Meanwhile, I have to find another part time job to supplement my income. I applied at Borders, and I'm planning to apply at Barnes & Noble. I also sent my resume to 440 Studios for an "Assistant Studio Manager" position (another deak job, I presume). So keep your fingers crossed that I get another job soon, or I might be living in a box.

I am really stressed about the job/apartment/money situation. I should have enough to move, but thats it. Nothing for any bills or Metrocard, or food. So, thats a problem. I don't really know what to do. I keep telling myself that God is going to take care of me. So thats what I am going to continue to do. And of course continue to run around like crazy trying to get a job, etc. So, thats that.

Oh, yeah. I am taking a trip to Vegas at the end of July with Melissa and my mom. Mom's going for a teacher's conference, and her cousin Rita is flying out with her. She offered to fly me out, so I agreed. Melissa has been wanting to go to Vegas for a while, so it all worked out pretty well. Its not necessarily at the top of my vacation list, but Lauren, my best friend from 2nd grade, lives there and I really want to see her. And this is as close as I'll have ever gotten to the West Coast, so yay! I'm also gonna try to get some of my friends in Cali to hang out with us.

Thats all I've got for now...goodnight!
