Baby, I Didn't Even Know I Wanted You Until Today
My mom asked about birthday gifts and I was kind of stumped, but then today we stopped at Staples and I was looking at high-end Wacom tablets, and I think that's what I want. Either a Bamboo Create, or whole hog with the Intuos. That'd be sweet.
This morning my engine started making noises and my check engine light came on, and I took it over to Weso's, who said that the air compressor had gone and I had to get a whole new air conditioner put in the car. It set me back about thirteen or fourteen-hundred bucks, but whatevs. New air conditioner! I walked back to the house after dropping the car off because Mom was waiting for a delivery, so I got a lot of exercise today too and I feel pretty good.
Class was fine, and afterward Tiffany, Josh, Sonja, Jeremy, Stephanie, and John (who didn't even have class this week) all hung out in the courtyard for a bit chatting and getting sun. No one but Tiff and I wanted to get drinking and eating done, so I took Tiffany home and drove back myself to go to dinner at Duffer's on Route 1 with Mom and Dad. The weather was gorgeous, and the food and beer delicious, and it was all good.
My car was finished being worked on this afternoon, so I was able to pick it up right away, meaning no juggling of cars for tomorrow. Word.
Boiled some eggs tonight to make deviled eggs for the potluck at Kris's place tomorrow. Pretty pumped!
