(no subject)
I figure this is as good a time as any to do.
Me status: Meh. Next month is going to be rough for me. Papers galore, pretty much, and finals. I did have a good month this month, though, especially after dropping the pups I dropped. Which is terrible to say, but damn, it's made a difference. I was actually aching for tags by the end of this month. Now I am drowning in them, oops. In fact, I should be doing them now
Lazy style. I do not feel like making this fancy.
Cyd: Cyd doesn't have much going on, admittedly. But she's not that kind of pup, and she's always really very loud. She's probably going to wtf at the snow in a post next month. Poor girl's from CA, the cold will not be fun for her. Maybe she'll get attacked by a penguin or something, idk. HILARITY. She's weirdly still okay about the whole being fake thing. She was by far my easiest puncture to date. She honestly kind of was creeped out, and then went "eh". XD; One day I will have to have her see "Do You Want To Date My Avatar?", because it will be glorious.
Gift: I am considering getting her everything she'd need to play D&D. Mostly because I love the mental image of her playing. I need people to play with her, though. Especially people who have seen dragons and all that other shit. Maybe she'll put up a post about getting together a group. Hm.
Ellie: Is very pregnant. She will be pretty miserable next month. Getting around with the snow while pregnant isn't really a formula for a good time. Honestly, she's pretty ready for the kid to pop out so she doesn't need to waddle around anymore, LOL. I have to bug Melly for a private thread soon, re: the baby's settled on name and her nursery. Does anyone have a pup that can make nursery items, like a crib? I imagine she's been getting pieces slowly over the months, but I'd like the nursery to be mostly done by this month. She's probably getting a clinic post this month, though. Gotta get on top of that, and on top of picking a research topic for her for her Psych stuff. Ooy.
Gift: Not sure yet. Perhaps baby related? She doesn't have anything she really wants anymore.
Gideon: Meh. He's not got a lot going on. It isn't that he's quiet so much as he's not got a lot going on so he's always loud but I have no outlet for him. I think he might settle on a script idea next month. I'd like to talk to Leah to see if maybe Jack would want it to direct it or w/e. Otherwise, it's just going to be put aside, because he doesn't really have a huge interest in directing to begin with, nevermind doing it twice. What I really need is to get him more friends. He has staple ones, but like, no guy friends whatsoever LOL. And as much as he likes people like Eden and Daphne, it's not quite the same. There's Penny's Nutcracker thing too, which he's finding out about soon. He'll be really happy for her, obviously, and wouldn't miss seeing it for anything. As for a post, I also don't know yet. He won't mind the snow, though. He's from CT, after all.
Gift: Alcohol. A whole lotta alcohol.
Jim: Is getting married in a month, ho'shit. I suspect scrambling at least on his part. Gotta find someone who can make a suit or maybe he'll just find pieces of one in the box over a long period of time so he can panic about now having a full one. Anyway, yes. He's happy right now. He's ready to get the whole marriage thing over with and really settle again. It's better than fearing the worse, in the end, and he's nothing if not optimistic when it comes to Pam. Sam'll be old enough to get into the school next term for the toddler portion of it, which is just crazy. He's so proud of her. XD Oh, and he has the play too, which is awesome. I really need to thread with Uhura one of these days.
Gift: A pair of very nice wedding rings. I have yet to pick them out.
Future: Alistaaair. I am legit on my third (and last, for a while. >_>) playthrough of this stupid game. I wanted to play a male character to see how he was with one. BROS BEFORE HOS, ALISTAIR. I think I might bring him in from when he gets taken to prison, and will show up on the beach in only his underwear, dazed and confused. That will bring a lot of lulz. I am more excited about him than I have been about a pup in a long time. He's fantastic.
I keep saying January for him, but maybe if I have the reqs, I'll bring him in the end of December. We shall see.
