Jewelry design is all about tenuous strokes, careful lines, and geometry. There's a lot of art to it, certainly. Symmetry is such an imperative piece. I began designing for myself and creating engagement rings that I would really love a jeweler to build. It's outside of my work. It's the dream collection which will probably never come to fruition. My knee surgery is May 9th.

Perhaps the third time will be a charm?

I will be getting scoped soon, and I will recover in 14 days of the surgery. I will then be placed on a waiting list for the Meniscus transplant- a risky surgery that involves a year long recovery ( Read more... )

I'm a little disheartened. About two weeks ago, I re-tore my medial meniscus, and the most damning part is that it wasn't in an area of avid activity (though I've been trying to lose weight for awhile now).
