Regardless of my side in the issue...

Online blogs, message boards, and chatrooms have become the cynical man's PTA meeting. In light of that, I found Jill's pro-bush entry slightly refreshing amongst a myriad of negative media and internet discussion regarding Bush.

You honestly didn't provide your own arguement, and instead hopped on the Michael Moore bandwagon. You can't ask someone to see if you are just going to provide an alternate gospel.

I am going to mention though that Bush's approval ratings were lower than ever after the nation saw his slow response to Hurricane Katrina, so that could be why he was trying to look empathetic.

I didn't like how long it took to get resources to New Orleans, but I think they are handling it much better now.

I'm not the biggest Bush supporter, but I agree that people should know what they're getting themselves into when they sign up for the military. I think most of them don't because the war is over there, and it's not really real until it's too late. I'm also not a Michael Moore fan. I think he's irrational, and I think instead of throwing everything at Bush, he should shut up and do something.

Anyway...Jill, you're an intelligent person, and I may not agree with your opinions, but I respect them because I know you wouldn't believe something without your own reasons. The world could use a lot more open minds.

Did you get to go to the River Center? Alex told me she met John Travolta when she was helping there!
