10 and a half BILLION dollars... and thats just a start. I knwo it doesn't seem like a lot for all the damage, but it'll get us for so long. SEC football has donated $1 million, NFL, NBA, and etc has dontaed millions as well. Theres hope that our country can come together.
The president is such a man's man. Instead of just staying in his nice helicopter and looking from above, he got down there with the real people affected on the real land. Hugging, and crying with families. He took a look at the devastation with his own hands. "we will not be satisfied with the results until the people can do as much they can" "the results can be better and we will work with the people until they become better"
Its going to take a while... its an enormous task.
Life will go on... we will get through all of this.
