It can't be December, can it?
Gahhhh! Noooo, it's...it's...that last page in the calendar! Someone tell me it's just a bad dream! I'm so not ready for it! @_@
Okay, I'll be fine...*BREATHES* *COUGHS AND WHEEZES* Yeah, not feeling too hot today, been coughing up my lungs (again) woo. I did buy some Holiday cards though, so maybe I'll try and actually send some out this year. I'll get to that later. ;@ )
But I do come bearing good news: I just saved a ton of money...err My Mom called a bit ago to let me know my cousin Brian and his wife Kelli had their baby! He was too big to be born naturally (apparently large heads run on Kelli's side of the family), so he was delivered via C-section at about a quarter to 6 this evening (so a little over an hour ago). He was 7 lbs., 1 oz. and 21 inches long (aww, I was wrong on both of those, but not too far off on the timing). His name IS Brock, as they'd been planning, but not sure about his middle name yet. I guess the new Mom and Dad are doing fine and very excited. This is the first *official* grandbaby for my Aunt Robin, so she's very happy too. (She has step-grandchildren through my Uncle Bob, though.) Not sure when we'll get to see him and such, but I'm sure there will be pictures very soon. (I'm pretty sure the hospital provides baby pictures online, so I can check later.) I'm bummed though because as I've been sick this week, I may not get to visit them right away, since we wouldn't want Brock to get sick. ;_; I am sure Brian will have plenty of pictures and such to show us at work, though. So, that's a good way to start the month! :@ )

I'm not sure if that's a bad or good thing...? Wait...are they saying I'm sickeningly sweet and creepy? HEY!!! ;_; They told me I need to be more passive/assertive/whatever. Gee, thanks for pointing out my flaws, you mean Quiz! Obviously I haven't figured this stuff out, since I'm still single. Maybe that's why I'm not so keen on this time of year. But, I digress, this is a time for happiness!
Anyway, that's what I know today. And that it's also very cold outside, but at least we're not having the nasty weather some of you are experiencing right now. I'm going to venture a guess that it is coming from the same system that hit us, though, so uhm, consider it a lovely early Christmas gift from the Pacific Northwest?!?!? Yeah...I hope y'all enjoyed it. Stay warm and safe!
