This week I made a manly corset in the style of steampunk. It fits My hubby and he says it is very supportive for his back. He didn't like that it gave him man-boobs. I really should go to bed. But this is the first time all weekend I do not have a headache. Which really sucks because if I don't get to bed soon I will be tired and cranky tomorrow. I need to have my full wits about me as this is what my studio currently looks like and I need to finish rearranging so I can get work done.

So I had this idea for a corset. I wanted to use brass and leather for a busk and canvas for main body. First I had to learn to set rivets, I found a local hardware store that sold brass rivets in bulk form. I got some of those and got to work. The first attempts were a bit lop sided . Progress is slow,indeed. Pesky things like laundry and feeding family get in the way. I am very pleased about the leather and brass busk. I see it has quite a lot of possiblity .
