"I like you, too," Jill answered with a smile, turning toward Rodney slightly, still stumbling along the boardwalk. "I know what you mean. About it being a different way than, you know, other people. That's why I'm dating you and not them." Which made sense in her head, even if it seemed like a round about way to explain it.
"I hope you're not dating John or Carson," Rodney frowned. "Because that would be awkward and I'm not, uh, going to have a threesome, or even a foursome, with them. It would be...it'd be awkward," he repeated.
"We've already discussed this," Jill pointed out as they neared New Atlantis. "The not dating John and Carson, I mean. I like them both, don't get me wrong, but they're like family, I told you this before. They're like...family," she said again, just in case he'd missed it the first time around. "You know what I mean, right?"
