My hockey team, the Vancouver Canucks, got eliminated from the playoffs.  Boo.  I feel like the guy in this video right now....minus the shaving.

For those of you not in the hockey know and are wondering about the shaving bit, it's tradition in the NHL for players and their more devoted male fans to not shave while they're in the playoffs.  . 

So it's back to the old routine of looking for a summer job. I put it off until quite late this year not feeling terribly motivated.  But I've got a bunch of resumes out there now so hopefully something will come of them ( Read more... )

To those of you who think all Canadians are mild-mannered and polite, take note:  When it comes to our national sport of hockey the horns come out and gloves come off.  Like several days ago when the former coach of the Calgary Flames took a 'dislike' to a call one of the refs made in an AHL (one level below the NHL) game.
