Happy Easter!!
In Sweden, people believed in past days that the witches were flying to Blåkulla on Maundy Thursday to have meeting with the Devil. That's why kids are dressing up as "Easter witches" and go visit people's houses and get candies (like Halloween but without the tricks). We had a masquerade at school this week, but I didn't want to dress up as a devil's assistant, so I chose something more pretty. Like a daffodil.
I had my sister help me.
First we bought some yellow fabrics.
Then I cut out the petals and Jenny sewed the petal collar. She's good with the sewing machine. ^_____^
In the meantime I made the flower. I really like how it turns out, but sadly it looks more like a rose than a daffodil... T_T;
My co-workers think I look like a fairy... O.o My first reaction was to google to see if I was anything near looking as Peter Pan. I didn't. XD After that I felt safe and could feel like a flower again...
I guess it suits Kitty better. ^____^
