... looks just like Kame. ^^
Wow. Ryu is my favourite character of all Kame's drama characters, and to be able to watch that character once again, now grown up, that is amazing. I just hope they won't change him too much, that we will still be able to recognize the quiet but observing boy, caring but proud Ryu who would sacrifice himself for the sake of his friends.
At first, when I saw the promotional clips of Gokusen movie, the look of Kame nowadays compared to back then in Gokusen time... is totally different. Not only does he look healthier, but rounder, cuter and happier (and totally too adorable to do any harm).
But trust Kame to be a good actor, put him into an acting scene and he will become his character. (The fighting scene!!) So no worries, Ryu will appear again. After all, it is Kame. <33

But... I really hope Hayato will be in the movie as well, because their relationship and friendship was a big reason why I enjoyed the drama so much, without him it will feel like something is missing.
Hm... and Shin of course. I don't know, it's weird that Shin didn't appear even once in the second and third season, he should at least have had a little cameo role, not to mention in the movie. In the first season's end, obviously he had a crush on Yankumi, but they never bothered to develop that one and the only romances in the drama is those one-sided crushes she has on different (not-even-good-looking) guys.... T_T
I think they should have a big party at the end where all of Yankumi's students get to meet each other and interact with each other.
