"You live in another state far away from me and all of my unfaded charms . . ."

It's been too long to do a proper ramble about Urinetown now, but it was excellent. Hope was a little bland, Bobby was better but could have used . . . something more, and everyone else was just plain awesome. Especially Little Sally, Lockstock, Barrel (which was Bear! yay!) and Cladwell. Great physical work from many people. As usual, Urinetown is made of awesome.

Tonight is dress rehearsal for Information For Foreigners, and tomorrow is the Professors' preview, then we open Wednesday and run through Saturday. Needless to say, my life currently consists of class (when I go) and rehearsal. As usual, I find I don't mind that much, though I am certainly rather tired. Vicky's husband came in to rehearsal yesterday to watch and took a bunch of pictures -- some are up on Facebook now, so maybe I'll post them here later.

Worked on Saturday. Humorology. There should be warnings about events with largely frat boy-populated audiences, because I despise the particular way they meet my place-of-employment-mandated "Hello!" with that disgusting slow look-over. Do they think it's okay because the girl they're ogling is speaking to them? Because she had much rather not. Ick. I guess my guy friends are just the more respectful sort, because I'm not used to that crap anymore. Anyone else notice this weird sense of entitlement some guys have? Like, "You are female, therefore you are here for my benefit and I will completely ignore your face because your irritated expression may force me to recognize that you may in fact possess a brain."

good shows, happy things, stress, theatre, irriation, life
