One place that only occasionally showed up on my U.S. Capitol tours was the Senate Reception Room. It's not that it wasn't worth seeing -- it's a beautifully decorated space -- but it required a bit of a detour unless I was taking people onto the Senate floor, so if the Senate was in session I usually just passed it by.
