Well, Halloween is over, it's time to start thinking about the upcoming gift-fiving holidays. I had planned to have much more of my gift-knitting done by now, . oh well, the best-laid plans yadda yadda yadda, right? My brother is going to be here for Tgiving, so I am going to try to get his stuff done (and his dogs' and his girlfriend's) in time for him to take them back home with him. Other than that, my daughter's 10th bday is Tuesday the 21st, and although we had decided only family parties from here on in, we decided that since this is her year where she joins us in the "double-digit" club, I'd let her have one last bash. She was going to have some friends over for crafts and movies, but has opted instead fo "Planet Fun". That's ok with me as it puts a definite end to the party and means I don't have to get my house "company-ready" in a little over a week, which is good as I have to make a business trek to Miami next week. Plus, as she'll be inviting a friend or two to family gatherings starting next birthday, this is sort of a "last fling". I guess I need to find out what it takes to reserve a spot at this place.
