Just recently I got hired on as a student cartographer for Parks Canada (the federal government department that manages national parks and historic sites), which I start a week from Monday. I just polished off The Judging Eye by fantasy author R Scott Bakker. It certainly bears his mark, as it is ridiculously dense, adding more questions to the already unanswered ones left over from his first trilogy. Not really much to report these days. I've been working at a local grocery store part time. In my spare time I've watching Brideshead Revisited with karenjeane. We just finished this massive eleven part, 700 minute miniseries starring a young Jeremy Irons. It was excellent and full of interwar ennui in the upper classes.
