My GCC team is leading the Commission in the average step count, and is ranked 42nd out of the 3,000 teams participating in the GCC. I am very proud.
I am losing patience with a few people here and the rosy glow has come off them. Imprecise thinking and doddery ways do not help me to absorb what I need for a handover.
I have a head cold and so I'm feeling a little bit like there is a barrier between me and the rest of the world.
Bender has been scratching his left ear since Nic took him to the Million Paws Walk and I think he caught ear mites. I have told her that if she is going to act like he is 'our' dog then she needs to take responsibility for him as well, and so it is her turn to organise vet appointments. She was pretty good when he stabbed himself with a stick while she was throwing the ball and I wasn't there (I SOOOO wouldn't have thrown it in the spot she was in... too many rocks & sticks and stuff), but now she's taken him out and he's caught something and the cats will have to be treated as well. It just annoys me. I don't really like the Million Paws Walk - there are too many other animals and the probability of them catching something like ear mites is too high. I'd rather just take him down to the river where he can play off-leash with a limited number of dogs.
Anyway. Sucks.
