staying late
Well we finished the load today, and did the chips and the capping for confect. Tomorrow we have a smallish load and then Chris and I have to go through the coolroom and do all of the confect, stocking it up, counting it and putting it on the capping. I might have to stay back a few hours. Blah. Too much work!
At least it will pay off my credit card.
A drop in the world fuel price has led everyone to madly speculate on drops in the bowser price of ULP of up to 30 cents per litre. I can't believe that would happen. I think it may go down 10 cents a litre or so, just temporarily. I don't think diesel will go down, but at least it's stopped climbing up over the last few weeks. The diesel price is the biggest concern for the Aussie economy.
It's funny, people still compare fuel prices to the cost of Coke and bottled water. Yeah, sure a litre of diesel is still cheaper than a litre of Coke. It should be. The cost of the fuel is an element of the costs involved in transporting that Coke to you.
