omg.  i knew it would happen.  i mean, he's been battling pancreatic cancer for a while now.  but the news of patrick swayze's death saddens me.  he was my first hollywood crush (thank you dirty dancing).  he is such a prominent part of my childhood memories.  ah.  tis the end of an era.  T___T
